Christa - Host of Topsail Insider

I’m Christa, a Hampstead resident and the creator, host, and producer of Topsail Insider.

I launched the podcast in 2023 to help locals, prospective residents, and visitors discover more of what the Greater Topsail area has to offer. Since then, Topsail Insider has published more than 60 episodes featuring local businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, events, services, and experiences throughout Hampstead, Surf City, Topsail Beach, North Topsail Beach, Holly Ridge, Sneads Ferry, and surrounding communities.

My interviews are relaxed, curious, and in-depth. I want listeners to come away with information they can actually use—whether they’re choosing a restaurant, looking for a local service, finding something fun to do, exploring a community resource, or simply getting to know the area better.

While every guest has a personal story worth hearing, my first responsibility is always to the listener. I approach each conversation by asking what someone will know, understand, find, or be able to do after hearing the episode.

In 2025, I was honored to be named Business Person of the Year by the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce. I’m proud of the relationships Topsail Insider has helped build and of the growing collection of local information preserved through the show.
